What is involved?
Theory test - Part 1
The exam consists of two parts; you have to pass both parts at the same time to progress to the next test. The first part is a multiple choice of 100 questions; the second part consists of 14 video clips each lasting 1 minute.
Driving test - Part 2
A 1 hour Driving test, testing your driving ability to a very high standard. The test will cover many aspects of driving skills e.g motorway, urban, rural, reversing etc.
Instructional ability - Part 3
You will have to give practical driving instruction to a DSA examiner. They will start by acting the part of the learner driver who has little or no experience, then a driver who is nearly test standard, or a full licence holder. You'll need to past both Pre Set Tests at the same time.
